Silambarasan Tesingu Rajendar, widely known as Simbu or STR, was born on February 3, 1984. He is a multifaceted talent in the Indian film industry, excelling as an actor, director, producer, playback singer, and songwriter. Primarily recognized for his contributions to Tamil cinema, Silambarasan has carved a niche for himself with his dynamic performances and creative storytelling.

The son of renowned actor and director T. Rajendar, Silambarasan began his journey in the film industry as a child artist in his father's films. His first significant role came in 2002 with the lead character in 'Kadhal Azhivathillai,' which marked the beginning of his ascent in the cinematic world. His breakthrough came in 2004 with the blockbuster 'Manmadhan,' which solidified his status as a leading actor.
