Silva Kaputikyan

Silva Kaputikyan, born on January twentieth, nineteen nineteen, was a prominent Armenian poet and political activist. Renowned as one of the most significant literary figures of the twentieth century, she earned the titles of 'the leading poetess of Armenia' and 'the grand lady of twentieth century Armenian poetry'. Her work not only reflects her literary prowess but also her deep commitment to Armenian national causes.

Kaputikyan's literary journey began in the mid-1940s with the publication of her first collection of poems.
