Silvano Maria Tomasi

Silvano Maria Tomasi, born on 12 October 1940, is a distinguished Italian prelate of the Catholic Church, recognized for his extensive diplomatic service. Since 1 November 2020, he has held the esteemed position of Special Delegate to the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, a role that underscores his commitment to the Church's mission and humanitarian efforts.

Tomasi's career is marked by significant contributions to the Holy See's diplomatic relations, particularly during his tenure as the Permanent Observer of the Holy See to the United Nations in Geneva from two thousand three to two thousand sixteen.
