Sisavath Keobounphanh

Sisavath Keobounphanh, born on May first, nineteen twenty-eight, is a prominent figure in Laotian politics. His career is marked by significant leadership roles, including serving as the Vice President of Laos from nineteen ninety-six to nineteen ninety-eight. His tenure in this position laid the groundwork for his subsequent elevation to the role of the third Chairman of the Council of Ministers, commonly known as Prime Minister, from nineteen ninety-eight to two thousand.

During his time as Prime Minister, Sisavath played a crucial role in shaping the political landscape of Laos. He was succeeded by Bounnhang Vorachith, but his influence continued as he took on the presidency of the Lao Front for National Construction from two thousand to two thousand eleven. This organization focused on promoting national unity and development within Laos.
