Siti Musdah Mulia

Siti Musdah Mulia, born on March third, nineteen fifty-eight, is a prominent Indonesian writer, activist, and lecturer known for her unwavering commitment to women's rights and interfaith dialogue. As a professor of religion, she has made significant contributions to the academic landscape, particularly in Islamic political thought.

Her groundbreaking appointment as the first female research professor at the Indonesian Institute of Sciences marked a pivotal moment in her career. Currently, she imparts her knowledge as a lecturer at the School of Graduate Studies at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, where she inspires the next generation of scholars.

Since two thousand seven, Musdah has been at the helm of the Indonesian Conference on Religion and Peace, an NGO dedicated to fostering interfaith dialogue across Indonesia.
