Born on August twentieth, nineteen eighty-four, Sitora Farmonova has made a significant mark in the Uzbek entertainment industry as a talented singer, actor, and comedian. She gained widespread recognition for her performances in popular Uzbek comedy films, including 'Xavfli burilish' (A Dangerous Turn) in two thousand four, 'Mening akam boʻydoq!' (My Brother is a Bachelor!) in two thousand eleven, and 'Endi dadam boʻydoq?' (Now My Father is a Bachelor?) in two thousand thirteen. Notably, she became the first Uzbek actress to star in a film produced by a German filmmaker, featuring in the two thousand eleven film 'Baikonur' directed by Veit Helmer.
In addition to her acting career, Farmonova has successfully ventured into music, captivating audiences with her debut single 'Bahor-kuz' ('Spring-Fall'). The song was well-received, earning her acclaim from both fans and critics alike, solidifying her status as a prominent figure in Uzbekistan's music scene.
Since two thousand fifteen, Farmonova has been a vibrant participant in KVN, a popular Russian humor television show and competition, where she is a member of the Bishkek-based team Asia MIX. However, her journey has not been without controversy; in July two thousand sixteen, she faced backlash for allegedly making fun of the Uzbek people during an episode, which resulted in the suspension of her performance license by Uzbeknavo, the government agency responsible for issuing licenses to performers in Uzbekistan.
