Sloane Stephens, born on March 20, 1993, in Fresno, California, is an accomplished American professional tennis player. With a remarkable career, she has achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 3, as recognized by the Women's Tennis Association. Her impressive accolades include eight WTA Tour-level singles titles, highlighted by her stunning victory at the 2017 US Open, where she made a triumphant return to the sport after a significant injury.

Stephens' journey in tennis began at a young age, influenced by her athletic parents. She honed her skills at a tennis academy in Florida under the guidance of Nick Saviano. As a junior player, she reached a ranking of world No. 5 and showcased her talent by winning three out of four major girls' doubles titles in 2010 alongside her partner Tímea Babos.
