Smriti Irani, born on March twenty-third, nineteen seventy-two, is a multifaceted Indian personality known for her significant contributions as a politician, television producer, and actress. She gained immense popularity for her portrayal of Tulsi Virani in the iconic soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, produced by Ekta Kapoor. This show not only became a cultural phenomenon but also earned her numerous accolades, establishing her as a household name in Indian television.

Irani's political journey began in two thousand three when she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a karyakarta. With a rich family legacy of political involvement, including her grandfather's role as a swayamsevak and her mother's activism, her commitment to the party runs deep. Over the years, she has held various significant positions, including serving as the National President of the BJP Mahila Morcha from two thousand ten to two thousand thirteen and as a member of the Indian parliament from two thousand eleven to two thousand twenty-four.

Her political career is marked by a historic victory in the two thousand nineteen elections, where she defeated Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Indian National Congress, in the Amethi constituency.
