Sofia Huerta

Sofia Huerta, born on December 14, 1992, is a talented American professional soccer player known for her dynamic play as a right back. Currently, she showcases her skills with the Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League and represents the United States national team on the international stage.

Huerta's soccer journey began at Santa Clara University, where she played for the Santa Clara Broncos. Her impressive collegiate performance led to her being drafted by the Chicago Red Stars in 2015. After three successful seasons, she was traded to the Houston Dash in 2018, and later made her way to the Reign in 2020, continuing to make her mark in the league.

In a remarkable twist in her career, Huerta initially represented Mexico internationally before making a significant decision to switch allegiance. She debuted with the United States national team on September 15, 2017.
