Originally from Russia, she represents the United States and has achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 4 in singles, alongside a notable No. 21 in doubles. Her exceptional talent was recognized when she was named the 2020 WTA Player of the Year, a title she earned by clinching the Australian Open and finishing as the runner-up at the French Open.
