Sohrab Moradi

Sohrab Moradi, born on September twenty-second, nineteen eighty-eight, is a distinguished retired Iranian weightlifter renowned for his remarkable achievements in the sport. He made history by clinching the gold medal in the ninety-four kilogram weight division at the two thousand sixteen Olympics, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.

Moradi currently holds the world record in the ninety-four kilogram weight class with an impressive total lift of four hundred seventeen kilograms. His prowess in weightlifting is further highlighted by his previous world records in both the snatch and clean and jerk categories, demonstrating his versatility and strength across different lifting techniques.
