Sônia Guajajara

Sônia Bone de Souza Silva Santos, widely recognized as Sônia Guajajara, was born on March sixth, nineteen seventy-four. As a member of the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL), Guajajara made history in the two thousand eighteen Brazilian general election by becoming the first indigenous person to run for a federal executive position in the country. Initially a presidential candidate, she later accepted the role of vice presidential running mate for nominee Guilherme Boulos, marking a significant milestone in Brazilian politics.
