Sorin Grindeanu

Sorin Grindeanu, born on December fifth, nineteen seventy-three, is a prominent Romanian politician, computer scientist, and engineer. He has been serving as the President of the Chamber of Deputies since June twenty-fourth, twenty twenty-five, having previously held the position ad interim in November twenty twenty-one. Grindeanu's political journey is marked by significant roles, including his tenure as Prime Minister of Romania from January to June twenty seventeen, a period that ended with his removal through a motion of no confidence by the Parliament.

Before his premiership, Grindeanu was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from two thousand twelve until the local elections in June twenty sixteen, after which he became the president of the Timiș County Council.
