Rahimi began his professional journey with Raja CA, where he showcased his skills before embarking on a loan spell at Étoile de Casablanca. Upon returning to Raja CA, he played a pivotal role in the club's success, contributing to their victories in the 2019–20 Botola, the CAF Confederation Cup in both 2018 and 2021, and the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2019–20.

In a significant career move, Rahimi signed with Al Ain, where he made an indelible mark by leading the team to triumph in the 2023–24 AFC Champions League, finishing as the tournament's top scorer with an impressive thirteen goals.

On the international stage, Rahimi has been a full international for Morocco since twenty twenty-one. He represented his country in the 2020 African Nations Championship, the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, and the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where he emerged as the top goalscorer of the African Nations Championship with five goals.
