Squarepusher

Thomas Russell Jenkinson, born on January 17, 1975, is widely recognized in the music world by his stage name, Squarepusher. An English electronic musician, he has made significant contributions as a record producer, bassist, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. His innovative approach to music blends various genres, including drum and bass, IDM, acid techno, jazz fusion, and electroacoustic music.

Since his debut in 1995, Squarepusher has been associated with Warp Records, alongside other smaller labels like Rephlex Records. His unique sound is characterized by intricate drum programming, live instrumental performances, and advanced digital signal processing techniques, which together create a rich auditory experience.

In addition to his solo work, Squarepusher is also known for being the older brother of Ceephax Acid Crew, also known as Andy Jenkinson. This familial connection adds an interesting layer to his musical journey, as both artists explore the realms of electronic music in their own distinctive styles.
