Stanley Glover

Stanley B. Glover, born on April 18, 1908, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, was a distinguished Canadian athlete known for his remarkable achievements in track and field. His athletic prowess was showcased on the international stage during the 1928 Summer Olympics held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Competing in the 4×400 metre relay, Glover made his mark by securing a bronze medal alongside his talented teammates Alex Wilson, Phil Edwards, and Jimmy Ball. This accomplishment not only highlighted his speed and endurance but also solidified his place in Canadian sports history.
