Stars Academy season 1

Stars Academy is a vibrant Hong Kong singing competition that made its debut on 10 April 2021, captivating audiences until its finale on 19 July 2021. Over the course of fourteen episodes, the show sought to uncover young singing talents, showcasing their abilities and passion for music.

Hosted by the charismatic Sammy Leung, the series featured renowned artist Hacken Lee as the coaching supervisor. A talented lineup of coaches, including AGA, Pakho Chau, Vincy Chan, JW, Gin Lee, and Janice Vidal, guided contestants through their musical journeys, providing mentorship and support.

Throughout the competition, several performances stood out, resonating with viewers and gaining significant popularity. Notable highlights included Chantel Yiu's rendition of "Love Prediction" (戀愛預告), Gigi Yim's heartfelt performance of "Without You, I Still Love You" (沒有你還是愛你), and Yumi Chung's energetic presentation of "Wild City" (狂野之城). Ultimately, Gigi Yim emerged victorious, claiming the title of the first season's winner.

Following the grand finale, the excitement continued as contestants participated in a four-day live concert titled First Live on Stage, held from 12 to 15 August 2021. The show's success prompted TVB to greenlight a second season in 2022 and inspired the creation of other musical programs, including Forever Young at Heart (2021–2022) and the youth talent show Stars Junior Academy (2022).
