Stasys Girėnas

Stasys Girėnas, born on October fourth, nineteen ninety-three, was a pioneering Lithuanian-American aircraft pilot whose ambition and courage left an indelible mark on aviation history.

In the early thirties, Girėnas embarked on a daring non-stop flight attempt from New York City to Kaunas, Lithuania, aboard the Lituanica. This journey was not just a personal challenge but a significant endeavor to connect his homeland with the world.

Tragically, Girėnas's dream was cut short in nineteen thirty-three when he lost his life during this ambitious flight. His legacy, however, continues to inspire future generations of aviators and adventurers.
