Ștefan Radu

Ștefan Radu, born on October 22, 1986, is a distinguished Romanian former professional footballer known for his versatility on the field, primarily playing as a left-back or centre-back. His football journey began in Romania with Dinamo București, where he achieved notable success, including three domestic honors and a national title.

In 2008, Radu made a significant move to Lazio, initially joining the club on loan. This marked the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship with the Biancocelesti, where he would spend the majority of his career. Over the years, he not only earned the captaincy but also celebrated multiple victories, winning the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana three times each.

Radu's dedication and skill on the pitch were recognized when he became Lazio's leading appearance maker in all competitions in 2021. After an illustrious career, he decided to retire from professional football in 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by fans and teammates alike.
