Stefan Savić, born on January 8, 1991, in Mojkovac, is a distinguished Montenegrin professional footballer who currently plays as a centre-back for Trabzonspor in the Süper Lig and represents the Montenegro national team.
His football journey began at the local club Brskovo, where he honed his skills before moving to BSK Borča and then to Partizan. During his time at Partizan, Savić achieved significant success, winning the domestic double, which paved the way for his transfer to Manchester City for a fee of six million pounds. In his sole season with City, he celebrated winning the Premier League title.
In 2012, Savić made a move to Fiorentina, where he made over one hundred appearances in three seasons. His career took another leap in 2015 when he signed with Atlético Madrid. At Atlético, he played a crucial role in the team's journey to the 2016 UEFA Champions League final and contributed to their victories in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2018, as well as winning La Liga in 2021.
A full international since 2010, Savić has earned over seventy caps and scored nine goals for the Montenegro national team, showcasing his talent on the international stage.
