Steffen Peters, born on September eighteenth, nineteen sixty-four, is a distinguished dressage rider originally from Germany who now represents the United States in international equestrian competitions. His remarkable career has seen him compete in five Olympic Games, where he has earned a team bronze medal twice, in nineteen ninety-six and twenty-sixteen, as well as a team silver medal in twenty-twenty.

In addition to his Olympic achievements, Peters has excelled in various prestigious international events. Notably, he secured team bronze at the two thousand six World Equestrian Games and claimed two individual bronze medals at the two thousand ten World Equestrian Games. His prowess in the sport was further highlighted by his victories at the Pan American Games, where he won both individual and team gold medals in two thousand eleven and two thousand fifteen.

Throughout his career, Peters has been closely associated with his exceptional horse, Ravel, who helped him achieve many of his accolades before retiring in two thousand twelve. Following Ravel's retirement, Peters continued to find success with another talented horse, Legolas. In early twenty seventeen, he transitioned the ride on Legolas to his assistant rider, Dawn White-O'Connor, as he began working with a new competition horse, Rosamunde.
