Bosustow is perhaps best remembered for his work on the beloved Mr. Magoo and Gerald McBoing-Boing cartoons during the nineteen fifties. His exceptional talent earned him three Academy Awards for these productions, making him the only film producer in history to receive all Oscar nominations in a single category in nineteen fifty-six, which guaranteed him a winning Oscar. The film Magoo's Puddle Jumper ultimately took home the coveted award.
