Stephen Boyd

Stephen Boyd, born William Millar on July 4, 1931, in Northern Ireland, was a prominent actor known for his compelling performances on both stage and screen. He rose to fame in the late 1950s, captivating audiences with his portrayal of the villainous Messala in the epic film Ben-Hur, released in 1959. This role not only solidified his status as a leading man but also earned him the prestigious Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture.

Throughout his career, Boyd showcased his versatility by taking on a variety of roles, oscillating between heroes and villains.
