Stephen Rea, born on October thirty-first, nineteen forty-six, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is a distinguished Irish actor celebrated for his versatile performances across stage, film, and television. He began his artistic journey as a member of Dublin's Focus Theatre, where he honed his craft and showcased his talent in various roles on stage and Irish television.

Rea gained international acclaim for his role in Neil Jordan's groundbreaking film, The Crying Game, released in nineteen ninety-two.
