Stephen Snobelen

Stephen Snobelen, born in nineteen fifty, is a distinguished historian specializing in the history of science and technology. He holds a professorship at the University of King's College in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where he passionately engages students in the complexities of scientific history.

His research interests are diverse, encompassing the Early Modern and nineteenth centuries, with a particular focus on the works of Isaac Newton. Snobelen delves into Newton's theological and prophetic writings, exploring the intricate relationship between science and religion, as well as the popularization of scientific ideas during his era.
