Steve Bould, born on November sixteenth, nineteen sixty-two, is a distinguished English football coach and former professional player. Currently, he serves as the first team coach for EFL Championship club Queens Park Rangers, showcasing his extensive experience in the sport.
Bould's football journey began at his hometown club, Stoke City, where he quickly established himself as a talented defender. Over the course of seven seasons with the Potters, he garnered a reputation as one of English football's most sought-after centre backs. In nineteen eighty-eight, he made a significant move to Arsenal, where he became part of a formidable defensive unit alongside Tony Adams, Nigel Winterburn, and his former Stoke teammate, Lee Dixon.
After leaving Arsenal in nineteen ninety-nine, Bould concluded his playing career with Sunderland. Transitioning from player to coach, he took on the role of Head Youth Team Coach at the renowned Arsenal Academy. His dedication and expertise led to his promotion as assistant manager at the start of the 2012–13 season, succeeding the long-serving Pat Rice. Bould later took charge of the U23s side, further solidifying his impact on the next generation of football talent.
