Steve Hodge

Steve Hodge, born on October twenty-fifth, nineteen sixty-two, is a retired English footballer renowned for his role as a midfielder. His career spanned the vibrant footballing eras of the 1980s and 1990s, during which he made significant contributions to both club and international teams.

One of the highlights of Hodge's illustrious career was his participation in the 1986 World Cup, where he represented England on the global stage. Additionally, he celebrated notable successes with Nottingham Forest, securing two League Cups, and was part of the legendary Leeds United team that clinched the title in nineteen ninety-two, although his appearances for Leeds were somewhat limited.

Transitioning from player to coach, Hodge took on the role of development squad coach at Notts County prior to the 2013–14 season. His leadership skills were further recognized when he was appointed caretaker manager of the club on October twenty-seventh, two thousand thirteen. However, he returned to his coaching position shortly thereafter, following the appointment of Shaun Derry as manager on November sixth, two thousand thirteen.
