Steve Park

Steve Park, born on August twenty-third, nineteen sixty-six, in East Northport, New York, is a distinguished former professional stock car racing driver. As the youngest of four sons, he grew up in a family that fostered a competitive spirit, which would later propel him into the world of racing.

Park's racing career began in an unconventional manner; rather than starting in entry-level classes, he jumped straight into NASCAR Modifieds on Long Island, under the mentorship of the seasoned National Modified Championship contender, Bob Park. His talent quickly became evident as he established himself in weekly Modified racing at Riverhead Raceway, where he honed his skills and gained recognition.

After making a name for himself in the Featherlite Modified Series, Park transitioned to the Busch Series, where he continued to showcase his racing prowess. His career highlights include victories in NASCAR's two top Northeast touring series, the Modified and K&N East, as well as triumphs across all three national divisions: Truck, Busch, and Cup Series. Notably, he secured two wins in NASCAR's highest division, solidifying his status as a formidable competitor in the sport.
