Steve Porcaro

Steve Porcaro, born on September second, nineteen fifty-seven, is a distinguished American musician, songwriter, and film score composer. He is best known as a founding member of the iconic rock band Toto, which he established alongside his brother, drummer Jeff Porcaro. The musical legacy continued with the inclusion of their brother Mike Porcaro on bass, solidifying the Porcaro family's significant impact on the music industry.

Throughout the late twentieth century, particularly in the seventies and eighties, the Porcaro brothers gained immense recognition as sought-after session musicians. Their talents graced numerous records for a diverse array of artists, including legends such as Steely Dan, Don Henley, Chicago, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Pink Floyd. This period marked a prolific phase in their careers, showcasing their versatility and skill across various musical genres.
