Steve Staunton

Steve Staunton, born on January nineteenth, nineteen sixty-nine, is a distinguished figure in Irish football, known for his dual career as a player and coach. He made his mark as a defender, showcasing his skills during two notable spells with Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Liverpool. His journey also included stints in the Football League with teams such as Bradford City, Crystal Palace, Coventry City, and Walsall.

Throughout his illustrious career, Staunton earned an impressive one hundred and two caps for the Republic of Ireland national football team.
