Steve Stevens, born on May fifth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a renowned American guitarist celebrated for his exceptional skills in jazz guitar, songwriting, and record production. He gained widespread recognition as the lead guitarist for Billy Idol, contributing significantly to the iconic sound of the eighties. Stevens is particularly famous for his electrifying lead guitar work on the 'Top Gun Anthem,' which earned him a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance in nineteen eighty-seven.

Throughout his illustrious career, Stevens has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Michael Jackson, Ric Ocasek, and Robert Palmer. From nineteen ninety-two to nineteen ninety-four, he was a member of Vince Neil's band, where he toured and recorded the album 'Exposed.'
