Steve Weeks

Stephen K. Weeks, born on June 30, 1958, is a distinguished Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. His career spanned thirteen seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), where he showcased his skills with several teams, including the New York Rangers, Hartford Whalers, Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Los Angeles Kings, and Ottawa Senators.

Weeks was selected by the New York Rangers during the 1978 NHL Amateur Draft, marking the beginning of his professional journey. He made his NHL debut with the Rangers in 1981, quickly establishing himself as a reliable goaltender in the league.

In addition to his club career, Weeks represented Canada on the international stage, playing for the national team at the 1985 World Championships. His contributions to the team were significant, culminating in a silver medal that highlighted his talent and dedication to the sport.
