Stevie Young

Stephen Crawford Young Jr., known professionally as Stevie Young, was born on December 11, 1956. He is a talented musician recognized for his role as the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist for the iconic Australian rock band AC/DC.

Stevie joined AC/DC in April 2014, contributing to the recording of the band's album, Rock or Bust. Although he began working with the group that year, it wasn't until September that he was officially announced as a member. His entry into the band came as a significant moment, as he stepped in to replace his uncle, Malcolm Young, who had retired due to dementia.

Prior to his official membership, Stevie had already made his mark by filling in for Malcolm during AC/DC's US tour in 1988. His deep-rooted connection to the band and his family legacy have made his contributions to AC/DC both meaningful and impactful.
