Stillman Drake

Stillman Drake, born on December 24, 1910, was a prominent American writer and historian of science, renowned for his extensive research on the life and works of Galileo Galilei. His scholarly contributions have significantly shaped the understanding of Galileo's impact on science and philosophy.

In 1967, Drake relocated to Canada, where he embraced his new home and later acquired Canadian citizenship. This move marked a new chapter in his life, allowing him to continue his academic pursuits in a different cultural context.
