Sudha Murty

Sudha Murty, born on August nineteenth, nineteen fifty, is a distinguished Indian educator, author, and philanthropist. She is the Founder-Chairperson of the Infosys Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to social causes. Married to N. R. Narayana Murthy, co-founder of Infosys, Sudha has made significant contributions to education and social work, earning her a nomination as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha on March eighth, twenty twenty-four.

Her philanthropic efforts are widely recognized, culminating in her receiving the Padma Shri in two thousand six, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for her outstanding social work.
