Ṣuhayb ibn Sinan

Ṣuhayb ibn Sinān al-Rumi, known as Suhayb the Roman, was born around five hundred and eighty-seven. He emerged from the Byzantine Empire, where he was raised speaking Greek, a testament to his diverse cultural background.

As a merchant, soldier, and imam, Ṣuhayb played a significant role in the early Islamic community. His journey led him to become one of the earliest companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, where he contributed to the foundational years of Islam.

His unique experiences and perspectives, shaped by his upbringing and profession, allowed him to navigate the complexities of his time, making him a notable figure in Islamic history.
