Sulli

Sulli, born on March 29, 1994, emerged as a multifaceted talent in the South Korean entertainment industry, excelling as an actor, singer, and model. She began her career in acting with notable appearances in the film Vacation (2006) and the drama series Drama City (2007). Her breakthrough came with independent films like Punch Lady (2007) and BA:BO (2008), where she showcased her dramatic abilities.

In 2009, Sulli signed with SM Entertainment and became a prominent member of the girl group f(x). The group achieved remarkable success, producing four number-one singles in Korea and gaining international acclaim as the first K-pop act to perform at SXSW. Alongside her music career, Sulli returned to acting with the SBS romantic comedy To the Beautiful You (2012), earning accolades including two SBS Drama Awards and a nomination at the 49th Paeksang Arts Awards.

Her film career flourished with roles in The Pirates (2014) and Fashion King (2014). However, during the promotional activities for The Pirates, Sulli faced health challenges that led her to take a hiatus from the entertainment scene. After a year away from f(x), she departed from the group in August 2015. Between 2015 and 2017, she engaged in various modeling campaigns and became an endorsement model for Estée Lauder.

Sulli made a notable return to the music industry in 2018, featuring on Dean's single 'Dayfly' and releasing her debut single album Goblin in June 2019, which marked her final musical endeavor before her untimely passing.
