Surya Bonaly

Surya Bonaly, born on December fifteenth, nineteen seventy-three, is a celebrated French retired figure skater and coach. Renowned for her remarkable achievements, she is a three-time World silver medalist, having earned this honor from nineteen ninety-three to nineteen ninety-five. Additionally, Bonaly is a five-time European champion, clinching titles from nineteen ninety-one to nineteen ninety-five, and she was crowned the World Junior Champion in nineteen ninety-one.

Throughout her illustrious career, Bonaly showcased her extraordinary talent by becoming a nine-time French national champion between nineteen eighty-nine and nineteen ninety-seven. Her innovative performances included a historic backflip landed on one blade, making her the first Olympic figure skater to achieve this feat at the nineteen ninety-eight Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan.

After her retirement from competitive skating, Bonaly continued to shine in the world of professional figure skating, performing in ice shows globally and securing numerous victories in professional competitions.
