Susan Cabot

Susan Cabot, born on July ninth, nineteen twenty-seven, was a talented American actress known for her work across film, stage, and television. She gained recognition for her compelling performances in a range of Western films during the early 1950s, including notable titles such as Tomahawk in nineteen fifty-one, The Duel at Silver Creek in nineteen fifty-two, and Gunsmoke in nineteen fifty-three.

After parting ways with Universal Pictures in the mid-1950s, Cabot shifted her focus back to theater, performing in New York. However, she made a return to Hollywood later in the decade, collaborating with director Roger Corman on several films, including Sorority Girl in nineteen fifty-seven, War of the Satellites, and Machine-Gun Kelly, both released in nineteen fifty-eight. Her final film role came in Corman's horror feature, The Wasp Woman, in nineteen fifty-nine.

Following her film career, Cabot spent the next two decades largely in seclusion, although she did make a few appearances in off-Broadway theater during the early 1960s and appeared on the television series Bracken's World in nineteen seventy. Unfortunately, by the 1980s, she was grappling with severe mental health issues, including depression and irrational phobias.

Tragically, on December tenth, nineteen eighty-six, Cabot's life was cut short when her only child, twenty-two-year-old Timothy Roman, fatally attacked her in their Los Angeles home. Roman, who had dwarfism and pituitary gland issues, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and received a sentence of three years' probation for the incident.
