Susan Truppe, born on August twentieth, nineteen fifty-nine, is a prominent Canadian politician and business executive. She made her mark in the political landscape when she was elected to the House of Commons of Canada during the two thousand eleven election, representing the London North Centre electoral district as a member of the Conservative Party.
During her tenure in the forty-first Canadian Parliament, Truppe held the position of parliamentary secretary to the Minister responsible for the Status of Women. Her commitment to women's issues was further demonstrated through her active participation on the Standing Committee on the Status of Women and the Special Committee on Violence Against Indigenous Women.
In the two thousand fifteen federal election, Truppe sought re-election but was narrowly defeated by Peter Fragiskatos of the Liberal Party of Canada. Undeterred, she announced her intention to pursue the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario nomination in London North Centre on November fourth, two thousand sixteen.
Truppe successfully secured the nomination on April second, two thousand seventeen, becoming the PC candidate for the forty-second Ontario general election. However, in the election held on June seventh, two thousand eighteen, she again finished in second place, this time to Terence Kernaghan of the Ontario New Democratic Party.
