Suzuki Harunobu

Suzuki Harunobu, born in 1725, was a pioneering Japanese ukiyo-e artist renowned for his innovative contributions to woodblock print art. He is celebrated as the first artist to produce full-color prints, known as nishiki-e, in 1765, which revolutionized the art form and rendered the previous two- and three-color techniques obsolete.
