Sven Habermann

Sven Habermann, born on November third, nineteen sixty-one, is a distinguished former Canadian national soccer team goalkeeper. He proudly represented Canada at the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, California, showcasing his skills on an international stage. Two years later, he was part of the Canadian roster for the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, although he did not see any action during the tournament.

In his club career, Habermann played for the North American Soccer League's Toronto Blizzard during the years nineteen eighty-three and nineteen eighty-four. He later made a significant impact in the Canadian Soccer League with the Calgary Kickers, where he was recognized as an All-Star player. His contributions helped Calgary secure the league playoff championship against the Hamilton Steelers.

This remarkable team set a North American professional sports record by going forty-six consecutive games without defeat, a testament to their dominance in the league.
