Tad Williams

Tad Williams, born on March 14, 1957, is a renowned American writer celebrated for his contributions to the fantasy and science fiction genres. He is best known for his multivolume series, including the acclaimed Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, Otherland, Shadowmarch, and The Bobby Dollar series. His literary prowess extends to standalone novels such as Tailchaser's Song and The War of the Flowers, showcasing his versatility as a storyteller.

In recent years, Williams has embarked on a new journey with The Last King of Osten Ard series, which is set to culminate in 2024 with the release of its final installment, The Navigator's Children. With over seventeen million copies of his works sold, Williams has firmly established himself as a significant figure in contemporary literature.

Beyond novels, Williams has made notable contributions to the comic book industry, including a six-issue mini-series for DC Comics titled The Next. He also penned issues fifty to fifty-seven of Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis, along with other works such as Mirrorworld: Rain and The Helmet of Fate: Ibis the Invincible #1.
