Tamara E. Jernigan

Tamara E. Jernigan, born on May seventh, nineteen fifty-nine, is a distinguished American astrophysicist and former NASA astronaut. Her remarkable career is highlighted by her participation in five Space Shuttle missions, where she spent over one thousand five hundred twelve hours in the vastness of space. Jernigan's missions included three flights aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia, as well as one each on Endeavour and Discovery.
