Tamara Diane Wimer, known professionally as Tamara Gee, is an accomplished American pop singer, songwriter, and record producer born on October 11, 1972. From a young age, she displayed a remarkable talent for music, beginning her singing career at just five years old. By the age of twelve, she was already a professional vocalist, earning accolades in various singing competitions and even winning a beauty pageant during her formative years.
Throughout her teenage years, Tamara opened for renowned artists such as Tony Bennett and contributed her vocal talents to several albums. In 2007, while residing in Poland, she released her debut album, Hidden Treasure, under Universal Music. The album featured the single "For Life," which won the Piosenka dla Europy, the Polish national final for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest. This historic entry became the first Polish song to qualify from a semifinal, ultimately finishing twenty-fourth out of twenty-five entries.
Her Eurovision performance gained international attention, with a segment featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show during an episode of "The World's Got Talent," where she shared the stage with iconic artists like Celine Dion and Julio Iglesias. In the same year, Tamara co-wrote and performed the track "Fate" on DJ Schiller's album Sehnsucht, which achieved triple platinum status and received a Grammy nomination.
In 2009, she released a solo EP titled Christmas Angel, further showcasing her versatility as an artist. On November 27, 2014, Tamara unveiled her album Love, Tamara, which she co-wrote and produced with the esteemed Grammy Award-winning producer Walter Afanasieff.
