Tamia, born on May ninth, nineteen seventy-five, in Windsor, Ontario, is a celebrated Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and model. From a young age, she showcased her talent in various singing and dancing competitions, laying the groundwork for a remarkable career in the music industry.

In nineteen ninety-four, Tamia signed a development deal with Warner Bros. Records, which led to a significant collaboration with the legendary producer Quincy Jones. Their partnership resulted in the Grammy Award-nominated tracks 'You Put a Move on My Heart' and 'Slow Jams' featured on Jones' album Q's Jook Joint, released in nineteen ninety-five. Her self-titled debut album, released in nineteen ninety-eight, marked the beginning of a series of successful projects, including 'A Nu Day' in two thousand and 'More' in two thousand four, with hit singles like 'So Into You' and 'Stranger in My House' solidifying her place in pop and R&B music.
