Abraham's football journey began at Chelsea, where he graduated from the academy and made his first-team debut in 2016. His early career saw him excel during a loan spell at Bristol City, where he made history by becoming the first player to win the club's Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season, and top goalscorer awards in a single season.

After a successful stint at Swansea City, he joined Aston Villa on loan, where he achieved remarkable success by scoring twenty-five goals in a single league campaign, a feat not accomplished by a Villa player in forty years. Returning to Chelsea in 2019, he netted eighteen goals during the 2019–20 season and celebrated lifting the UEFA Champions League trophy the following year.

In 2021, Abraham made a significant move to Roma in Serie A for a fee of forty million euros. After loan spells with AC Milan and Beşiktaş, he permanently rejoined Aston Villa in 2026.

On the international stage, Abraham has represented England at various youth levels, including the under-18 team, and participated in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. He made his senior debut for the national team in November 2017, marking the beginning of his journey with the senior squad.
