Tao Geoghegan Hart

Tao Geoghegan Hart, born on March thirtieth, nineteen ninety-five, is a prominent British cyclist currently competing for the UCI WorldTeam Lidl–Trek. His journey in professional cycling began when he joined Team Sky as a stagiaire in late two thousand fifteen, and he officially became a permanent member of the team in the two thousand seventeen season.

In a remarkable achievement, Tao clinched victory at the two thousand twenty Giro d'Italia. He secured the iconic maglia rosa on the final day during the time trial, making history as the first winner of the Giro to never wear the jersey until he had won it outright. This extraordinary feat not only highlighted his exceptional talent but also placed him among the elite in cycling history.

With this victory, Tao became the fifth British rider to win a grand tour, following in the footsteps of notable cyclists such as Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas, and Simon Yates.
