Tayla Parx, born Taylor Monét Parks on September 16, 1993, in Dallas, Texas, is a multifaceted American artist known for her talents as a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and actress. From a young age, she immersed herself in the arts, taking singing, dance, and classical piano lessons. At the age of nine, she joined the prestigious Debbie Allen Dance Academy, where her passion for acting was ignited under Allen's mentorship. Her family's move to Los Angeles in 2005 paved the way for her first television role in 2006, followed by her notable performance as Little Inez Stubbs in the 2007 film Hairspray.
Parx's songwriting career took off when she signed with Warner Chappell Music at nineteen.
