Ted Budd

Ted Budd, born on October 21, 1971, is a prominent American businessman and politician who has made significant strides in North Carolina's political landscape. He has been serving as the junior United States senator for North Carolina since January 3, 2023, following his victory in the 2022 United States Senate election.

A member of the Republican Party, Budd previously represented North Carolina's 13th congressional district from 2017 to 2023. His tenure in the House of Representatives laid the groundwork for his successful campaign for the Senate, where he succeeded retiring Republican senator Richard Burr.
